The Hagerstown
Municipal Band will begin its 94th Summer Concert Series on Sunday, June 8,
2007 at 7:30 PM in the Peter Buys Band Shell located in the Hagerstown City
Park. This will be the 1st concert in a series of 11 presented by the Band
under the direction of Lynn Lerew.
The Elks Lodge of
Hagerstown will present their annual Flag Day Ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM.

15, 2008 at 7:30 PM in the Peter Buys Band Shell located in the Hagerstown

Municipal Band will continue its 94th Summer Concert Series on Sunday, June
29, 2008 at 7:30 PM in the Peter Buys Band Shell located in the Hagerstown
City Park. This will be the 4th concert in a series of 11 presented by the
Band under the direction of Lynn Lerew.
This week the HMB
features Lynn Lerew, Euphonium and Trombone Soloist, performing, "Fantasia Brilliant" by Arban
and "Blue Moon" as arranged by Barker.
Additionally, Dave
Wenerd will conduct “Finale” from Symphony No. 5 by Shostakovich.
Bennett Lentzner will conduct Symphonic Dance No. 3 (Fiesta) by Williams.
The HMB would like
to perform the final tune, "Precious Lord, Lead Me Home" as
arranged by Smith as a tribute to Lynn's wife, Bertie Lerew, who passed away
in the spring.
